After the positive debut in Magione, touching on the podium, for Bucci Moto Team the weekend of Modena in the CIV Junior, the second one in the season, was going to be an opportunity to continue the work done until that moment and improve even more the results obtained with Luca Maria Casagrande Contardi, while unfortunately Loris Capriolo couldn’t be there, still recovering after his injury in the first round.
Improvements which were seen on track with the team of Claudio Bucci who got its first podium in its history in the CIV Junior, already on the second race, with Casagrande Contardi who brought the brand new BR12GP2T on the second place of the podium in the second manche, finishing at just 3 tenths of a second from the victory.
A second place which cames after a fifth, also fighting for the very first places in race 1, to end a weekend in which Casagrande Contardi and Bucci Moto were competitive in every session, showing the great growth of the very young rider and the also very young bike, with the team which is showing to have all the necessary to fight for important positions.
A podium which is important also for the championship’ standing, which sees Luca Maria up to the fourth place, just one point behind the third one and in full fight for every target, thanks to the great job of all Bucci Moto Factory Team, which already at the second race weekend found the right setup and completed, together with the rider a very exciting weekend.
Now, for Bucci Moto the committments continue, with the second round of Campionato Italiano Velocità, while for the CIV Junior the next race is at Varano, on 19th and 20th june.
Claudio Bucci: “I’m excited for the weekend we had and to be able to get with Luca Maria our first podium in the Campionato Italiano Velocità Junior MiniGP. Rookie rider, rookie team and rookie bike, and despite all on our second race we could get on the podium, showing to be competitive throughout all the weekend, something very important considering it’s our debut in the competition and considering the high level of our rivals. I’m sorry just for the absence of Loris Capriolo, due to the injury he suffered in Magione, because we could have had two riders to do even better than this, but we wait for him in Varano and in the meantime we continue to work to improve. I want to thank all the sponsor who support us and I want to share with them our first podium, with the target to continue on this way!”
