Completed the lineup for the Italian Speed Championship, on Sunday 14th and Monday 15th, it has been the moment for Bucci Moto Team to start the preparation to the first round of the championship, with a test at Mugello looking forward the season debut, in which Matteo Morri, Moto3 rider, and the two new entries Basso and Plazzi in Premoto3 could start getting confidence on the bikes, updated and renewed by the hands of Claudio Bucci.
Unfortunately the two days have been conditioned by the rain, which had been protagonist on Sunday, impeding the rider to ride on dry track, with just Morri and rookie Plazzi who made some laps on the wet track, getting some feeling on the track in the difficult conditions, with the target to be prepared with this kind of weather.
The one which had been the most important day was lìmonday, after a start with some fog, then team and riders could ride constantly, with three different targets, all of them reached, getting satisfaction and positive vibes to the team led by Claudio Bucci, who finished the test with a smile, looking forward to another one in the next weeks.
Morri, as said, had the target to regain confidence on the Moto3 bike after the winter break, he improved session by session and from here he will restart in the next test, with the clear target to get even more feeling and improve after a 2020 season growing up.
For Cristian Basso, at his first exit with the BR17GP3 Premoto3, the target was to know the bike and the team, to then start pushing, target completely reached with Cristian who immediately found a good feeling and get good laptimes at the end of the day, things which gives lot of confidence and faith both to team and rider, looking forward next appointments.
Nicola Plazzi had the most difficult work to do, as he was a rookie on the complicated track of Mugello, and at the same time he was at his first time on this bike, with the young rider from Ravenna who did very well, got confidence step by step and made important improvements session by session, with the target to continue on this way in the next tests, in which the experience he got from will be useful and will just increase.
Satisfaction so for Bucci Moto for this first test, with the team from Felino which soon will organize another one, looking forward the first round of CIV on half of april. .
Claudio Bucci: “Despite the difficult weather conditions, I am happy with the job we all made during these two days at Mugello, working with all the team and our riders. We made the big part of the work about knowing the bikes for the the new riders, Cristian and Nicola, and returning on bike for Matteo and now from this point we have to continue to improve. Matteo still has room to improve and on that room we need to work, same of Nicola, who positively surprised us, at his first time at Mugello and overall on a big track, he immediately did well and the important improvements he made show this. Cristian, as young but experienced rider he is, worked well, finding immediately the good feeling, with a performance which gave us good vibes looking at the debut. They have been positive test, but now we came back home working to be ready to the next test and first round!”
